My name is Cosmin Miholca and I started to play tennis when I was eleven years and a half. Previously an avid soccer player and following my father’s dream of spending my life in “fresh air” teaching tennis I realized that this was the sport I would really pursue for the rest of my life.

Not being one of those naturally gifted players, I had to figure out my way into winning based not on my power and athleticism but on my ability to develop a good strategic plan and to find weaknesses in my opponents game.
Tennis never came easy to me; I had to work hard and therefore everything I’ve learned I make it my passion to share it with my students in helping them enjoy this wonderful game.

I grew up in Romania, a beautiful country in South-East Europe, and played sports all my life: soccer, table tennis, volley, swimming, a little gymnastics but tennis is the only sport that I have played and taught for almost twenty years.

In 2000 I graduated the “University of Science - section: Kinesiology” (a very reputable University in Transilvania). I spent four years studying and practicing what I thought it would be my profession in life but little did I know that right after graduation I was going to move to California and had a chance to continue my childhood passion: playing and teaching tennis...

In the Spring of 2003 I became a Certified Tennis Instructor by PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) and started to teach at several clubs in Orange County, Southern California.

Currently I live in Dana Point, California, together with my wonderful wife Irina and my super-gorgeous little daughters Cezara and Bianca.
I teach full time tennis mostly on public courts and I’m proud to say that all my clientele has been gathered through “word of mouth”. I’m currently teaching somewhere between 70 - 100 people (some take group lessons) every week.
